CITV Share a Story Pack
Project Type: Design for screen/print Date: 2011
Design of a fun and inspiring pack for the CITV / First Light
Share a Story competition. The PDF helps entrants to create
their storyboards and characters.

Tickle Me Timbers!
Project Type: Animation/Character Design Date: 2011
A fun project for video production company Ignite Creative.
I designed and illustrated the characters and backgrounds
for the children's animation.
Inclinations Cards Website
Project Type: Branding/Website Design Date: 2011
Inclinations make hand made wedding stationary and asked
me to design their branding and website. I also did the
photography for the ranges on the site.

Tikabooson Blog

I designed the logo for retro footy DVD store Tikabooson
a while ago and they then asked me to design the theme for
their wordpress blog.

Virtual College
Project Type: Social Network Website Date: 2010
Virtual College, a pupil referal unit required a safe,
closed, social networking website to allow their students
and staff to interact online. I designed and built the site
based on Hi8us workshops we ran with the young people.

Kahani
Project Type: Video/Digital Stories Date: 2010
Kahani tells the migration stories of Asian women living
in Birmingham. Shortlisted for Digital Social Responsibility
Award at BIFF, the films give a unique insight into the
lives of the women. My roll was graphics, sound recording
and editing the final films.
Hi8us Website
Project Type: Web Date: 2008
A content managed website I created whilst
working at Hi8us, an Arts and Media charity.
Hi8us Annual Review
Project Type: Print Date: 2007
Design of 36 page annual review, all litho prited on
lovely uncoated Conquerer paper. mmm.
Little Supernovas
Project Type: Branding/Web/Print Date: 2010
Little Supernovas is a series of creative workshops for
children. This was a very small project to create a brand,
some printed material and a simple website.
Spectrum Photos
Project Type: Logo/Branding Date: 2010
Spectrum wanted a complex logo to reflect the many
aspects of their business.
Ten4 — Warwick Davis
Project Type: Magazine Illustration Date: 2007
I was lucky enough to meet fantastic actor
Warwick Davis and chose to depict him for Ten4 as
different action figures from his many roles from movies
such as Willow, Harry Potter, Hitchhikers Guide and, of
course, Star Wars. What a legend!
Urban Trap
Project Type: Illustration/Comics Date: 2009
Urban Trap is a fun two page 'silent' comic story that I
created as part of the Comix project and was published
in the Comix anthology.
Boost
Project Type: Branding/Print/Web Date: 2006
The Hi8us Boost project was designed to help small
businesses get off the ground. I designed a range
of items from the logo and posters to the website.
Ten4 — Joss Whedon
Project Type: Magazine Illustration Date: 2007
Illustration for Channel 4's Ten4 magazine for an interview
with Buffy and Firefly/Serenity Creator Joss Whedon.
UnsolvedWM
Project Type: Film/Web/Print Date: 2010
This complex Hi8us project involved exploring urban
legends with different groups of young people.
We covered everything from UFO's to the Birmingham
Bigfoot! The scary and sometimes hilarious results are all
on YouTube and are well worth a look. I steered the
creative side of the project and did the visuals, the website
and some filming.
Prince's Trust XL
Project Type: Interactive/e-learning Date: 2005
I created a complex interactive cd-rom that was full of
fun flash games and e-learning tools that were designed
to teach life skills to young people at risk of exclusion from
school. The CD was distributed to 1200 schools nationwide.
Digitoons
Project Type: Print/Workshop Support Date: 2007
Digitoons was a series of talks and workshops with
top animators such as The Brothers McLeod, organised
by Hi8us. I was involved in the workshops and designed
the advertising using a set of my characters.
Ten4 — Flix in the Sticks
Project Type: Magazine Illustration Date: 2006
Flix in the Sticks is a travelling cinema that visits rural
areas to show the latest films. This illustration was a
fun job to help explain the concept for an article in
Ten4 magazine.
Tikabooson
Project Type: Logo/Branding Date: 2008
OK, the game's up. I don't really watch or play football
but this logo for a football DVD website seemed too
fun an opportunity to miss. If you were wondering,
'Tikabooson' is Andy Gray for 'Take a bow son.'
